Call for Participation

The Industry forum will be organised in the context of ESWC 2006, the 3rd European Semantic Web Conference that will be held in Budva, Montenegro, 11-14 June 2006, in cooperation with the EC FP6-NoE Knowledge Web (Realizing the semantic web) and the EC FP6-NoE Rewerse (Reasoning on the Web with Rules and Semantics). The Industry forum will be held 12 June 2006.

Scope

The goal of the Industry forum is to present the current and foreseen needs in Business, Industry and Services to the top leading research community and technological solution providers in Semantic Web technology.

It will constitute a unique occasion to exchange and confront on concrete facts the promises of the Semantic Web with the leading stakeholders. Moreover associated to the ESWC conference it gives the opportunity to keep up with the latest research agenda developments.

The forum is designed to maximize cross-fertilization between research and industry. We will welcome concrete business cases needs, vendor and analyst reports on the state of the commercial marketplace, and case study presentations from developers, implementers and customers.

The forum will include 2 keynote invited presentations giving two visionary presentations from Research and Industry, a selection of key business Use Cases from invited industrial leaders in diverse economical sectors, a presentation on the latest developments focused on Semantic web Technology in the W3C arena.

Format and Publication

Submissions must not exceed 10 pages (6 pages is the nominal size) in length in the Acrobat PDF format, including figures, tables, references, and appendices.

All submissions must strictly follow the LNCS style, which is available at: http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html under "Information for LNCS Authors". Publications will be available publicly under CEUR-WS.org conditions.
